When Kellan turned one, I made this adorable garland to hang up! It was so easy and just brought the party to life with all his toothy smiles & grins. Fortunately, his face was quite round, so the circle hole punch worked perfectly!
Here’s what you need:
- Patterned paper
- Triangular hole punch
- Round hole punch (2″)
- Tissue paper
- Baker’s twine
First, print out paper with the child’s face on it in black and white. Use a round 2″ hole punch to punch out the child’s head! Either use scissors or a triangular hole punch to make the party hats out of patterned paper.
Next, cut up colored tissue paper into small strips and cut small fringes along one side. Then glue the faces and hats and fringed tissue paper together to make lots of cute little faces with party hats on! Love the photos that I used with his tongue out and in a mid-squeal…
