Ella loves watching me make jewelry for my Mint + Bloom shop, so sometimes we find time to DIY some kid’s jewelry for her! This one is super quick, easy, and the results are colorful and fun. I love that the components are inexpensive too, so Ella can continue making necklaces for all her friends once I teach her the basics.
Here’s what you need:
- Paper straws
- Painted wood beads
- String or yarn
The most satisfying part of making this necklace is simply cutting all the paper straws! We bought a bunch of colorful patterned paper straws and Ella chose the mint striped ones with pink wooden beads. Once she got started, she made tons of necklaces for all her friends!
Here is one tribal color combo that I made!
